Daniel Anderson, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist with training and experience in Jungian psychology, dreamwork, symbolism, adult and child-adolescent psychology, play therapy, and parent work. Dr. Anderson trained in Jungian analysis in Zürich, Switzerland and received his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in California. Dr. Anderson completed a fellowship at the Reiss-Davis Child Study Center, where he did long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy with children (ages 4-18) and collateral parenting work, as well as intensive academic education in child psychotherapy, parenting and the role of early attachment and the brain in a child's development. He is a member of the LA County Psychological Association, the International Association of Jungian Studies, the Analytical Psychology Club of Los Angeles and is a member of the Executive Committee of the post-Jungian organization, the Society for Psychology as a Discipline of Interiority. He has published several articles and a book chapter addressing a variety of psychoanalytic topics.
